Ally Week

February 18th-22nd is Ally Week 2019!

Allyship is an active and ongoing process of learning and re-evaluating our assumptions. To encourage this, the LGBTQ Resource Center is hosting a series of panels and workshops centered on our Community Groups. Our goal is to provide opportunities to explore topics of race, sexuality, interpersonal relationships, and gender roles as a community. Ally Week provides an opportunity to expand our understanding of personal and shared experiences and talk about how allyship really works.

To mark your participation in the various Ally Week workshops and panels, students will have the opportunity to create their own personalized 'Ally' buttons showcasing what they learned during the event they participated in. Attend all Ally Week programs and leave with six new buttons to proudly display your learning and allyship!
